Informatica Cero, the Uruguayan tech website was fortunate enough to discover that the specifications of the Intel’s new 10th generation Comet Lake F-series desktop had been leaked.
According to tech news sources, the F-series chips had been introduced along with Intel’s 9th generation Coffee Lake processors these chips utilize the same silicon as non-F-series processors sans integrated graphics functionality.
Now, with the leak of the Intel, we get the gist that the company will launch two variants of each of the processors, which are:
- Three KF processors with a thermal design power of 125W
- Three subdued F versions with 65W.
And that is not all. Here is more information on the leaked specifications of Intel’s 10th generation Comet Lake F-series desktop: It has six processors featuring intel single-core turbo capabilities; this is the Intel Turbo Boost Max speed.
In recent times, Intel has lagged behind in terms of technology and sales in comparison with its major competitor, AMD.
Regardless of Intel’s upcoming new Comet Lake processors launch, they are still far behind in the tech industry, AMD has launched numerous processors that use 7nm Zen 2 architecture; this is potent and powerful than Intel’s existing collection of processors. Also, in terms of sales, AMD’s Ryzen 3000 series of processors is almost twice the sales of Intel’s in the market in certain areas.
On a good note, Intel’s new Comet Lake processors should be launched in April 2020. Perhaps this launch would herald advancement in terms of sales and technology for Intel.
