Infinix Note 7 Lite Battery Review

5000mAh battery is an amazing deal for a device in this range. The smartphone comes with Rapid Recharge, which is essentially being able to recharge your phone from 0 to 100 percent in around 3 hours 15 minutes (according to our test) and being able to have your device juiced in as little time as possible. The smartphone also comes with a 2A Supercharge 2.0 feature, which contributes to faster-charging speed.

On our test of the Note 7 Lite battery, we managed to squeeze around 18 hours of life out of the device. The company promises 4 days, but our tests reveal one very big flaw with the manufacturer’s estimates. They test their devices in 2G and maybe in standby, but we test our devices by emulating how the users use the devices.

We played games, listened to streaming music, streamed and watched YouTube videos and Netflix shows. All these we did while leaving the phone running on 4G nonstop. For us, that is when we could accurately get how long a device can run nonstop. While the average user wouldn’t push their devices to the limits we pushed ours, it’s often an indicator of what they can get at a minimum.

Note 7 Lite Camera Review

The camera is the second most important thing about this device. And what was the result of our test of the Note 7 Lite camera? On the front, you get a waterdrop notch 8MP AI camera with a single flash, while you get a 48MP Quad Ultra high definition camera on the rear.

The front camera sports 6 element lens, 1.6 μm and an f/1.8 aperture to support. You can now adjust the depth and the background blur seamlessly on the Note 7 Lite while being able to take stunning portraits. The rear camera houses an f/2.4 aperture camera, you get a 40mm macro lens, with a 40mm focal length. These two features help you take detailed pictures.

The Note 7 Lite is designed for photography, and it can automatically detect the scenery, with a preinstalled 18 categories of scenes. This feature looks through the library of scenes and adjusts your photo-shoot accordingly. We were able to take a picture of a plant and see the phone automatically change the category to nature.

Memory Review

The Infinix Note 7 Lite comes with a 4GB RAM and a 128GB internal storage option. The device was able to play our big games smoothly, we also didn’t have issues multitasking with it.

I loved how it sports a 128GB internal storage space. So you get to download and save as much as you want and never have to worry about memory. It comes with a micro SD card slot, the slot is on the same tray as the slot for the NANO SIMs. So you will be getting space for two SIMs and a dedicated micro SD port.

Screen Review

The Note 7 Lite display is what we will call average as most devices are gradually shifting away from the old and well-known 5 inches displays. Our recent review of the Pouvior 4 and Pouvoir 4 Pro shows that 6 inches and above are what many new devices are settling for.

The device comes with a 6.6 inches HD+ Infinity-O display, with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5 percent. For us, we did love how the screen was very responsive. Gameplay on the Note 7 Lite was also seamless as we didn’t have issues controlling the gameplay from any part of the screen.

The viewing experience was also a pass. We watched and got the best views on our games and videos, while the color depth was a pass on all levels.

Note 7 Lite Fingerprint Review

The fingerprint on the Note 7 Lite takes a completely different twist. We now get an overhaul of designs, from having the fingerprint under the camera mechanism to having in on the side.

We loved how it felt being able to unlock with our thumb. What we didn’t really like was the unease it brought when we use any of the other fingers as the fingerprint unlock.

The fingerprint unlock was also very sensitive, resulting in an easy and pretty fast unlocking of the phone. Away from fingerprint, another security feature we got is the face unlock.

Software Review

On the software front, I think you readers will be the final judge of whether this device gets a pass or a fail. We got an Android 10 on the Infinix Note 7 Lite plus an XOS 6.0. The device comes with AI features like Gesture, Live transcribe, and Wi-Fi share.
