Let’s see if the smartphone is worth the investment, or if we need to turn our sights elsewhere when we are looking to get a smartphone.
M3 Screen and Display Review
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 comes with a 6.3 inches LCD, and it comes with a waterdrop notch on the top that houses the smartphone front camera. The screen comes with 409ppi density and a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. You also get a pretty tiny, beautiful bezel-less display and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
For us, the display was perfectly usable, it was large enough to give us great viewing angles and great color depth. On use, we enjoyed playing our games with the smartphone screen as it was super responsive, and the high-graphic games we played were as neatly displayed as the average smartphone user would expect. While we wouldn’t call the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 display the best out there, it sure is one to love.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 Software Review
On the software front, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 did manage to outperform the older Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. The smartphone sports an Android 10 operating system, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset and an Adreno 612 graphics card. You get Dual Nano SIMs, 3G and 4G bands, and a fingerprint sensor.
We were able to enjoy high-graphic gaming with this device and it worked pretty fine. Because of the software features, the smartphone was just powerful enough to handle all these graphics without lagging, it was also having enough power to handle even the most extreme use of the smartphone for an extensive period. No lagging and no overheating – is how we will define the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 Software Review.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 is expected to have more than one memory variant. A 4GB RAM and a 6GB RAM option. These make the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 one device to love. We were able to play games seamlessly, and having this powerful memory plus a powerful software made the smartphone perform smoothly. We were able to multitask seamlessly, no apps closing when minimized and the phone was power efficient.
On the internal storage, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 is also expected to have both 64GB and 128GB internal storage options.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 Battery Review
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 comes with a 5000mAh li-ion battery, and it was able to carry us for 17 hours on our test. The smartphone was tested to the extreme, from enjoyed PUBG gaming for hours, watching movies on Netflix and streaming music nonstop, we tried to see how long the smartphone can run when tested to the extreme.
The device got heated at some point, which was expected as the device was doing just so much. But when it comes to keeping you juiced, we believe it could run for close to 25 hours if it was handled as the average user would. So it was a pass for the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M3 on the battery front.
On connectivity, this device comes with WIFI with dual-band, Wi-Fi direct, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth version 5.0, and a USB type C 1.0 with a reversible connector. Connecting to Wi-Fi for us was seamless, and we still enjoyed fast internet speed. While sharing our mobile data, the hotspot was pretty easy to assess and we managed to stay connected for quite some time, with the speed and quality of the internet being OK.
