This year at CES 2012, Newer Technology decided to show off the Power2U AC/USB wall outlet. This outlet is a combination of 2 standard AC ports and 2 full powered USB ports. It is designed to offer more ports for you devices with no need for adapters.

Get this, AT&T has set their gears in motion and will be releasing their first 4G LTE enabled device next week. Sounds great doesn't it? It only sounds great until you realize that AT&T doesn't even have their LTE network running as of yet. The term "sweet sorrow" quickly comes to mind.

A while back I reviewed USB Disk. Since then its become one of my most used apps. Well the nice folks over at Imesart sent me the new Pro edition. I'll only cover the new features in this review so, for a general overview of the app, see my previous review.

Wow, I would have never have thought to try and cook food with the power that a standard USB port provides well someone did. A standard port provides around 5V of power give or take a little. I am not even sure what it takes to heat a small hotplate but I am sure it is more than 5V. It looks like the guy tied together around 30 USB cables powered by his PC to power this small hotplate. But believe it or not it seems to have cooked the meat perfectly.
