Twitter has officially launched their Twitter App for the iPad. Now I know there are other Twitter Apps for the iPad so why should you get this one, let me tell you.

The new Twitter App just looks amazing and allows you to navigate Twitter differently than before. For example, in your time line you can just pinch a tweet to expand it and collapse it. Also if you touch a tweet that has a URL in it, a window will slide in next to your time line and load the web page. If you simply touch a normal tweet it will open up the users profile and actions you can perform on that user for example: follow, share, mentions, favorites, tweets, and lists.

HTC just updated their twitter status to let us know that the Froyo 2.2. update is available Today. here is what they said on twitter.

You heard right. Incredible is getting 2.2 starting today. RT @VZWSupport: @TheMichaelBK The Incredible update starts on 8/27/2010. *CH

The update should be available soon if you do not see it yet, let us know when you get it.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. But thanks to Twitter fast growth Torrent users, especially the uploaders are using Twitter to get their releases out. This means if you’re a fan of True Blood and want to watch the latest episode as soon as it comes out, all you have to is use Twitter Search feature and you will get the latest torrent download links.

Microsoft’s Hardware division has teased us on twitter today with an image of a new product, but not enough of it for us to identify it. This was their first tweet:

From Microsoft’s picture and words they used it could be a touch pad to compete with Apple’s new Magic Pad or something completely new. Who knows? Stay tuned for more info.

Foursquare the popular new social networking site has updated their Twitter status. The company is currently looking for College Reps to help spread the Foursquare word. No details on exactly what the job entails but if you’re interested head on over. Check out what they said below:

We have all been watching Geohot for the upcoming iPhone 4 jailbreak but he might be beat by Musclenerd. He has updated his Twitter status to let us know he is very close to an iPhone 4 jailbreak. Take a look at the pics below:

On Geohot’s twitter account he reports that he is not yet working on the next jailbreak for iOS 4 as of yet.

Twitter is facing some technical problems. Service will be slow or in some cases denied.

Today Twitter announced on their blog an upcoming change to their Terms of Service. The change in their service will not allow anyone to promote paid tweets through the Twitter API.
