Pritect for Kinect Review for the Paranoid

Are you paranoid that the Xbox Kinect sensor might be staring at you while you aren’t using it? Well there is a solution for that called Pritect for Kinect. Basically this little invention is a piece of bent plastic that perfectly fits over your Xbox Kinect to block the camera sensors yet still show the logo. The Pritect does not impede audio recognition at all it just does not allow the Kinect sensor to pick up any video. The Kinect sensor starts up normally while covered it just cannot get its bearing and adjust itself. This inability to adjust itself does not affect its performance.

CES 2012: Microsoft’s Last Keynote, Kinect and Metro Windows 8

This year was Microsoft’s last and final keynote at CES. No word on whether it was Microsoft’s choice or a decision made by CES to allow Microsoft to move on. The news was presented by the Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association which organizes every CES each year.

Xbox Dashboard Update goes Live Tomorrow, Metro Dash, TV and more

The long awaited Xbox Dashboard update will release tomorrow December 6th 2011. The update will include the all new Metro Dashboard, TV access, Cloud Storage, and Beacons. The dashboard update will roll out across 35 countries to a network of 35 million Xbox Live members. This update will allow Xbox to be one of the biggest interactive TV platforms in the world.

Dance Central 2 Review for Xbox 360

It’s been a gaming season of sequels. Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Uncharted 3, so it’s nice to have one that doesn’t fit into the mix. This is Harmonix’s first outing since being released by MTV/Viacom, the company that made them famous with Rock Band and the original Dance Central. With MTV long gone does that mean it’s the final nail in the Music game king’s coffin?
