There are times when we need to have access to our iPhone's but are unable to hold them due to other circumstances. Insanely Great Products understands this need and has made two great products to help the average iPhone user out.

Over a week ago we got our hands on the Otterbox Defender Series Case for the new Apple iPhone 5. The Defender Series case offers quite a bit of protection to the iPhone 5 and Otterbox has many variants for the case for different smartphones as well. In this video I will mention why I purchased the case and where improvements have been made. I will also mention some downfalls and missed opportunities. AT&T has handled the iPhone since its first launch in 2007 when AT&T was chosen as the launch carrier in the US. AT&T has stated that the iPhone 5 was their biggest launch so far in terms of units sold on opening day. The iPhone 5 was actually sold out on Apple's website for launch day shipments. AT&T was quoted saying:

AT&T set a sales record with iPhone 5 over the weekend, making it the fastest-selling iPhone the company has ever offered. Customers ordered more iPhones from AT&T than any previous model, both on its first day of preorders and over the weekend.

The iPhone 5 is now available for preorder on Apple's website. I have already completed my order for my phone which will ship in 2 weeks from today according to their site. For some reason I could not select the pick up at a store option to receive it on the 21st of September. I tried to give a call to the Apple Care support line but they appear to be getting so many calls that they have actually blocked any new calls from coming in. Go ahead and head over to the Apple website and preorder the phone now.

On Wednesday, Apple took the lid of a plethora of devices that's sure to shake up the market this year and the even into the next. The devices announced were, of course, the iPhone 5, new iterations to the iPod Nano and iPod touch and some much needed improvements to iTunes.
