Xbox 360 Could Be Getting, Among Others, HBO Go, Comcast, And Verizon TV To Xbox Live

Earlier last week we reported on rumors that Microsoft would be brokering deals to stream cable content directly to XBOX 360 game consoles. Those rumors appear to be gaining more credibility now and could bear fruit in as little as a week or 2. This kind of progression was hinted, earlier this year, at E3 2011 when Microsoft announced live TV integration.

YouTube Outages Reported Today

YouTube has been experiencing major outages today. The issues seem to include not being able to login to user accounts and constant error messages when trying to load a video page. While there is partial service working, there is still some major trend that has yet to be addresses by Google. Check out the picture above for what error message may look like for you. This is a problem that may get resolved today or by the time this article is posted. We will keep you up-to-date with any resolutions from YouTube.

iPhone 5 Reportedly Supports HSPA+ 4G

We may be in for a treat at the Apple iPhone announcement on October 4th. China Unicom vice president Huan Wenliang announced at MacWorld Asia that both T-Mobile and AT&T would offer the iPhone 5 with HSPA+ 4G capability.

Skype 2.5 Update for Android Adds Adverts

Skype has announced a new update for Android devices adding support for an additional 14 Android devices which brings the total number of Android devices supported by Skype to 41. Skype has also announced that its app will be available by default on several Motorola Devices including the Atrix 2.5 and Xoom 2.5. Some of the other features included in the update are the ability to switch between portrait and landscape modes during video calls, and zoom in with a simple double tap on the screen as well as additional support for Bluetooth headsets.

Amazon Silk Browser Coming to Windows and Mac

After Amazon’s press release yesterday about the new Kindle Fire tablet and the browser it runs named Silk new domain name registrations were spotted by Fusible that indicates that Amazon might have plans to bring the browser onto other platforms.
