CES 2011: The Casio Tryx

This year at CES, Casio blew our socks off with a new camera called the Tryx. The Tryx features a 3-inch touch screen for easy picture and video capture. The Tryx is only .59-inches thick so about the same size as an iPhone 4 and can provide Full 1080p HD video recording. The camera on the Tryx is 12.1 megapixels which can provide still image resolution up to 4000×3000. Even with the high resolution still images the camera still features Casio HDR-ART photo processing to create stunning pictures.

CES 2011 Verizon unveils un-named 4G Samsung Phone

At the Verizon Press conference today Verizon unveiled many different 4G LTE phones including the un-named Samsung model phone. The phone has amazing video quality as well as a both a front and rear view camera. The phone also features an micro HDMI connection. There are also 2 microphones on the phone for noise cancellation. The phone also features a SIM card for use on the 4G network. The battery on the phone provides 1500mAh which should be able to handle the increased speeds on the 4G network. WE dont have much more information about this phone yet, but expect to see more as CES continues. Check out the video of the phone after the break.

Verizon 4G LTE CES 2011

Microsoft has sold over 8 million Kinect units

Steve Ballmer announced on stage at the CES keynote that Microsoft has sold over 8 million Kinect units. Microsoft had initially preditced to 5 million but sold over 8 million at the initial launch. Ballmer promises that the innovation with Kinect will continue throughout this year including new features incorporated into Xbox Live.
