“One million iPads in 28 days—that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “ The Apple iPad grows in popularity as a press release from Apple stated that in just 28 days 1 million iPads were sold. Without competition from HP and Microsoft I feel that the iPad could have a strong foothold. Originally there was speculation that the iPad may not do well being that nothing has been created like it before, except the fact that it was a larger iPod Touch. And there was even more speculation that it would not be able to compete with the tablet market even though Apple had said that wasn't their goal. Well, I am happy for Apple and hope to see more from them soon.
