Family Research Speaks Out Against Star Wars Game’s Relationships

Bioware is apparently planning to introduce same-sex relationships within The Old Republic Star Wars MMORPG, but Family Research is up in arms over the issue. Family Research is a nonprofit organization based in Washington D.C., and claims itself to be "the leading voice for the family in our nation's halls of power." Family Research has issued a statement condemning Bioware's use of homosexuality in the Star Wars gaming universe.

SOPA Dead For Now

The Stop Online Piracy Act has been sunk "until there is a wider agreement on a solution" said Congressman Lamar Smith, who introduced the act last October. This comes after the worldwide response with the Internet Blackout, the takedown of Megaupload, and a retaliatory strike by Anonymous. In addition, the Protect Intellectual Property Act vote has been postponed.
