Netflix Application Available on UK PS3 Consoles, Service Coming Soon

Netflix for the Sony PlayStation 3 in the UK has yet to fully come online, but users can start downloading the application to their consoles. The new application, once downloaded, will display the message you see pictured in the photo above. This is a strong sign that UK PlayStation users can start enjoying what U.S., users have enjoyed for quite awhile now.

MSI Launches New GT783 Gaming Laptop

MSI brings gamers who want a truly mobile gaming solution the MSI GT783 and GT783R. The GT783 (MSRP:$2,500) features a Quad-Core 2.2GHz Core i7 processor (2670QM), GTX 580M GPU (2GB), 17.3-inch 1080p HD screen, 16GB DDR3 memory, and a 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD). The GT783R is a less expensive version of the GT783 which has the same screen but with some slight differences elsewhere.

Pioneer to Launch World’s Smallest External Blu-Ray Burner

Pioneer is bringing some innovation to the external Blu-Ray burner space with their newly announced BDR-XD04. The new burner will run for $149.99 and will be available towards the middle of this month. As you can see from the photo above, the new burner is extremely small and light at 8.5oz and 0.55 inches thick. The BDR-XD04 will feature 6x write speed, 2.0 USB (unfortunately no 3.0 USB support), and quad-layer 128GB BD-R support. The BDR-XD04 will have it’s own power adapter, but it will also be able to draw enough power from your computer’s USB port.

Nintendo 3DS Lite and Pokémon Gray Rumored

If there is any company who knows how to re-release the same thing and make money from minor changes, it’s Nintendo. Despite competition, last year’s release of the Nintendo 3DS has been achieving strong sales amidst rival portable gaming devices like the PlayStation Portable and the more prevalent smartphones.
