PageOnce, the creators of the Personal Assistant app, and a leading company in information management for smart-phones has brought us the TripTracker Pro app for the iPhone. TripTracker is available in two versions, one being free and the other being paid.

TripTracker Pro on the iPhone allows you to track all of your flights from wherever you are at any given time. TripTracker features an easy to use interface which allows only for a couple of clicks and you are tracking your flights. TripTracker will show you when your flight is departing from your airport and when it is arriving. In the flight details page of TripTracker, the app provides you with the duration of the flight, the type of aircraft and a telephone number of the airline incase you need it. In the departure tab TripTracker will provide you with weather forecasts for where you are flying from, what time your flight departs and from which terminal and gate. The arrival tab of TripTracker provides you with the arrival time, which terminal and gate, and also the weather forecast in the area from which you are arriving. The map tab provides you with flight tracking information if it is available for your airline or flight. TripTracker will also show your hotel reservation status if you have any.
What is the difference between TripTracker Pro and TripTracker? I believe the ads are removed in the Pro version which is great because I hate accidentally tapping on ads when I am trying to use an app on my iPhone.
Overall if you like to have the ability to be able to track your flights from your iPhone or iPod Touch then I suggest TripTracker or TripTracker Pro to track those flights for you. TripTracker provides an easy way to keep track of your flights and hotels for your iPhone.

Looking for a pizza place open now? A nearby gas station? Yelp for the iPhone can tell you where that place is! With Yelp you can search for places to eat, shop, drink, relax and play and then read reviews from other people that have gone there as well. This app is great for any traveler, college student, or anyone who wants to find great places to go in their area.
Features:
- Search for businesses near you suing the iPhones GPS
- Tap quick links to find nearby bars, restaurants, cafes, and more…
- Narrow searches by place, distance, price, and whats open now
- Browse reviews to read whats great and not so great in your city
- Add quick tips, photos, and draft reviews for your favorite businesses
I love this app, it is like Buzzd but it has more! This app can find more places to go, an easy to use interface, and a feed that you can view without even searching. What is the feed? Well the feed allows you to see what people around you are talking about. You click on the feed and it immediately loads the most recent places that have been talked about in your area. Give Yelp a try, you wont be disappointed!

Ever wanted to know what your house looks like from space? Well, you can do it from your phone! The Google Earth app from the app store. Google Earth allows you to find any location on the Earth and zoom in and take a look. Google Earth also displays points of interest in the area, such as food and lodging. The App also displays your exact coordinates based on what you are looking at, and the relative altitude based on how far you have zoomed in.

Tired of speeding tickets? Well then the iTunes App store has what you need. The Trapster app allows you to locate speed traps that are in your path of travel.
How does it work?
You simply launch the application and it notifies you of speed traps that are around you. Also if you see a speed trap that is not displayed on the app, simply touch the report button on your phone.
As you approach a speed trap, Trapster alerts you to its presence via an alert on the screen along with an audible alert. Here is what an alert looks like:

Trapster also displays locations of Banks/ATM’s, Gas Stations, Parking Lots, Schools, Police Stations, and Fire Stations. You can also program routes into Trapster so it can find any traps ahead of time for you. Trapster alerts you for Red Light Cameras, Hiding police, Speed Cameras, Check Points, Combo Cameras, and Mobile Cameras as well.
I have this app and it worked great for me and I do recommend it for those heavy and even the not so heavy travelers. If you have an iPhone you can download the app here from the iTunes store.
What phones are supported?
* iPhone
* BlackBerry
* Android (the TMobile G1 and others)
* Nokia N95, N96, N97, 5800, E71, and other Symbian s60 phones
* Unlocked J2ME phones with GPS (for example the TMobile Sony Ericsson W370)
* Palm Pre and Windows Mobile versions coming soon
Have an opinion? Feel free to post, we would be glad to hear your experiences with this app.
