Apple Could Launch Completely Redesigned iPhone in Fall 2012

Reports from BGR claim that a close source states that Apple’s next iPhone will have launch in the fall of next year rather than moving back to a traditional June/July time frame for announcements and release. The release would be closer to when the iPhone 4S was released.

The also go on to say that Apple may use rubber or plastic material on this next-generation iPhone frame. This could serve as a bezel, and one could only hope, because we would be disappointed to see the glass and metal designs go away entirely. There may also be a new aluminum back plating for the new iPhone that would not have a plastic black insert like what we see on iPads equipped with 3G and GPS modules. This next model could finally even feature a larger 4-inch display and catch up with the rest of the high end smartphone industry in screen real estate.
