Apple Gets Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Kicked Out of Australia With Court Order

Apple has now won its patent infringement lawsuit against Samsung in Australia, preventing the sales of Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets in and retail brick and mortar stores in the “land down under”. There has to be tons of prospective buyers who live in Australia who are going to be pretty steamed about not getting the chance to purchase of even see one of these tablets in action in their local consumer electronics store.

Apple is pursuing similar lawsuits in Japan, France, the Netherlands, and even here at home in the United States. We understand the need to protect patents, but we also do not like to see good tablets being shunned from the eyes of customers. We fear that if Australia is a win for Apple in such a suit, then other contries cannot be far behind.
