Apple Could be Bringing iCloud Movie Streaming

Apple has been reported as being close to making deals with Hollywood major movie studios in order to stream movies to computers and iOS devices through their new iCloud service. The LA Times and the Wall Street Journal both confirm that Apple has been meeting with studios to close licensing deals that will allow consumers to stream movies from iCloud that they purchase through iTunes.

Such a service could be launched by the end of this year or sometime in Q1 2012. There does not seem to be any special subscription type option like Netflix offers. If such a service would come out all, the prices of movies and television shows would probably remain the same as usual. We can only hope that this probable service brings something new to the table besides just streaming capability.
