iPad gets Official Facebook App

Facebook has taken so long to finally come up with an official app for the Apple iPad. They have had an iPhone version for some time, but until recently did not offer anything optimized for the iPad besides using the safari browser to access the site. Thanks to recent tweak from the jailbreak community, an iPad optimized version of the site was found with the code of a previous iPhone Facebook app version that unlocked a fully fledged iPad version of the app. But Facebook blocked that once they found out with an updated version of the app. But then the jailbreak community found another bypass by simply downgrading the version of the app to a previous version which would allow that same tweak.

Well it looks like instead of combating jailbreakers attempts to unleash the iPad app before Facebook intended on public use, they have decided to finally release it in the Apple App store.
