htc sensation XL HTC Unveils the Sensation XL with Beats Audio

HTC is launching a new handset, the previously codenamed Runnymede, officially dubbed the Sensation XL. The device features a 800×480 Super LCD display, Beats Audio, and running Android on HTC Sense 3.5. For now, at least, this device is not headed for American shores but should be available to Vodafone customers in the UK by early November of this year.

This device is the third HTC smartphone in its “Sensation” portfolio and it boasts a Qualcomm MSM8255 1.5GHz single core processor, and that really is disappointing in this dual-core ruled world. The battery will be 1600mAh and will be able to record 720p HD video. An added plus, is that the XL will come packaged with HTC YourBeats in-ear headphones as standard. Engadget reports that there will also be a Limited Edition XL that will come packaged with the white Beats Solo headphones. We wonder how much that edition will cost subscribers of Vodafone. We will have to wait and see.
