Skype has announced a new update for Android devices adding support for an additional 14 Android devices which brings the total number of Android devices supported by Skype to 41. Skype has also announced that its app will be available by default on several Motorola Devices including the Atrix 2.5 and Xoom 2.5.
Some of the other features included in the update are the ability to switch between portrait and landscape modes during video calls, and zoom in with a simple double tap on the screen as well as additional support for Bluetooth headsets.
Similar to the Skype App on iOS, Adverts will also appear with the Skype 2.5 Android update, but like the iOS devices, if you have Skype Credit or a Calling or Skype Premium subscription you will not see the Ads.
The Skype app and additional information regarding devices supported for video calling can be found on the Android Market.
