The company Case-Mate may have inadvertently leaked the iPhone 5 design to the public. Case-Mate had released a page on their website which displayed their upcoming iPhone 5 cases but also hinted at a new design. These images have since been removed and replaced with a more generic splash page. The removal of the images only confirms that they might have actually leaked the look and feel of the iPhone 5.
The look indicates a drastic change from the current iPhone 4. If the new design is true it would indicate a wider iPhone and an aluminum finish. It also looks like the mute button may have either been relocated or removed from the new design.
If the leak was somehow intentional it was well played by Case-Mate because it did draw a lot of attention.
The expected launch of the iPhone 5 is to happen sometime early to mid October. Apple has yet to announce the upcoming iPhone 5 or the iPhone4S which has also been confirmed by the images.
