Official release of Firefox 6 on August 16th, but you can download it now

Firefox 6, the final non-beta edition, will be releasing officially on August 16th. But is same final edition is available for those elite among us who knows where Mozilla likes to place their files for the public before they place on their main homepage. The download is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux based computers through the Mozilla FTP servers. There is also an Android counterpart that we have not tried out ourselves yet. We believe it is also improved in speeds based on the comments made by Christopher Trout of Endgadget where he goes on to say that “we’ve found the release quite snappy.”

The user interface has remained the same for the most part, but there has been a noticeable improvement in the speed of the browser compared to Firefox 5. Now even though this is the final edition for version 6, there may still be updates released after after or prior to the official launch of the updated browser. I have provided the links below for the respective computer operating system download pages for Firefox 6.
