The 4G iteration of the TouchPad from HP went up for pre-order yesterday on Amazon. Now it appears the link to that page has been severed by Amazon. Maybe the pre-order was launched earlier than planned, well will update this article when page is back up.
The new HP TouchPad 4G will be running on AT&T’s HSPA+ network and will feature 32GB of internal storage, a 9.7-inch display (1024×768). The processor has been beefed up a bit to 1.5GHz from the 1.2GHz we see on the WI-FI only TouchPad variants. Though it has not been known, unequivocally at least, whether the processor was just overclocked or if this will be an entirely newer chip set. We sure wish those 4G speeds were equipped for Verizon 4G LTE, but it looks HSPA+ will have to do for now.
