Microsoft Wants $15 Per Android Device From Samsung

Microsoft LogoMicrosoft has requested $15 per Android device released by Samsung. This has been requested by Microsoft as a royalty payment for using Microsoft patents on the devices. However, Microsoft only charged HTC $5 per device while charging Samsung $15.

Samsung would most likely seek a lower payment around $10 a device than the staggering $15 a device. Samsung is said to have sold 3 million devices since April of this year, that comes to about $45 million extra dollars in Microsoft’s bill fold.
