We all thought that the next iPhone would launch this September and be called the iPhone 5, the next logical step in iPhone evolution. However according to sources from Forbes, the next iPhone may be simply another iPhone 4s with minor upgrades from the iPhone 4. This next iPhone will still launch on September, it just won’t be the iPhone 5.
The next iPhone will not have LTE support as previously predicted, however it may support HSPA+ on AT&T.
“According to our industry checks, the device should be called iPhone 4S and include minor cosmetic changes, better cameras, A5 dual-core processor, and HSPA+ support,”
Also, Apple may announce Sprint, T-Mobile, and China Mobile as new carriers for the iPhone. Both T-Mobile and Sprint will be added for the holidays and China Mobile within 12 months. [via: thegadgetsite]
