All Star Trek coming to Netflix, make it so

This is great news for all the Star Trek fans out there. Starting in July, every episode from every Star Trek series will be available for Instant Watch over Netflix, Ds9 in October. ~~Right now Star Trek TOS is available for Instant watch and the movies but that’s all~~. Soon it will all be here for our viewing pleasure.

Firstly Netflix confirmed they will be streaming every episode of every season for all five live-action Star Trek series: the original Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. TOS, TNG, Voyager and Enterprise will all become available on July 1st. DS9 will launch on October 1st. TOS and Enterprise will be available in HD.

This new deal between CBS and Netflix will make Netflix the first service to offer commercial free Star Trek. No other place online has ever offered TNG, Voyager, TOS, or Enterprise to stream online. The deal is only available to USA customers at this time and will be available for 2 years with an option to extend an additional 2. Again Picard says Make it so…. [trekmovie]

UPDATE: They removed TOS and Movies from Netflix so this deal will bring it back, sorry for the mistake.

Yeah, I think the studios see the writing on the wall. Netflix is the 800lb gorilla in the room and I’m happy that’s the case. Content when you want it, where you want it. That’s the name of the game today.

Most of those movies were available on Netflix because I have watched all of them on there previously. They removed them some time ago and this new deal will bring them back.
