Today, Microsoft is to release the next version of Internet Explorer through Windows Update. IE9 will replace IE8 and will provide a faster browsing experience which Microsoft claims to be the fastest browser. IE 9 also offers hardware accelerated HTML 5 rendering. Here is what Microsoft said about it:
IE 8 currently holds around 35% or 56% all versions of the worlds browser share while IE 9 holds around 1%. That number is set to drastically increase as it is released through Windows Update. In second place is Firefox with 29% globally followed by Google Chrome at 13%.
