A 14 year old in the comfort of his own home has created a very popular iOS game. His name is Robert Nay and his game is Bubble Ball. Bubble Ball allows you to put together different pieces to get your ball to the goal.
Nay has gotten his free app to the top of the iTunes charts knocking Angry Birds off the top of the list. His app has been downloaded over 300,000 in the first week of release and currently over 1.5 million downloads.
Nay used the Corona SDK from Ansca Mobile to create his app and used the programming language Lua. 4,000 lines of code and a month and a half later Bubble Ball was born. Nay expects to add in-app purchases to the game and develop more games in the future. Check out the trailer for Bubble Ball below:
