Activision seeks $400 million in damages from EA

The biggest video game producer Activision Blizzard is requesting $400 million in damages from EA in a current lawsuit against them. According to Reuters, a lawsuit filed in April against former executives Jason West and Vincent Zampella and charged them with attempting to hijack company assets and the future of the “Call of Duty” fanchise.

Activision now states that “West and Zampella broke their long-term exclusive employment agreements to set up their own independent company to develop games for Electronic Arts instead of Activision.”

The company was called Respawn Entertainment which was owned by West and Zampella which have begun hiring for an unspecified project.

I tried to find the case documents myself but could not: Jason West v Activision Publishing, Superior Court of the State of California, No. 107041.
