A recent study conducted by Retrevo Pulse showed that 78% of consumers that were looking to purchase a Netbook were leaning towards an iPad.
Consumers are leaning more towards the sleek and sexy tablets rather than cheaply built Netbooks. The study indicates that consumers that were struggling between an iPad or a Netbook were leaning towards an iPad.
The study also shows that when Steve Jobs announced the iPad release, consumers that were going to buy a Netbook 30% of them held off to buy the iPad. Further study concludes that Laptops are still holding quite a large lead over Netbooks overall most likely because Laptops with full size keyboards are becoming more and more cheap.
What do you think, do you see the iPad taking over the Netbook market? I honestly think that Netbooks have their own place as the iPad has it’s own. Please, leave your opinions.
